This is a picture of a giant puppet I helped make. We named her Aryn. She's a mermaid with a fish head. The head and fins are paper mache, and the body was a batik.
I didn't color in the whole thing. I kind of just highlighted a certain aspect in each box, trying to use the color that usually is associated element. This is the end result.
This is the other linocut I did. It is supposed to be the four elements: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Before I added color.
This is my finished butterfly! I tried to vary the colors of the leaves a little bit, and I made the back wing darker, so it would fade into the background a little more. I left the background white, because I really liked the contrast.
This is the linocut print I did in art. We drew a design, carved it, then used ink to print it--almost like a stamp. This is the butterfly before I added color using PhotoShop.

This was done with oil pastels. I tried to make a symmetrical effect, but not a perfect symmetry. I like the cool colors.
This is my collage. It has cookies, and cheesecake, and cookie dough, and brownies, ..... :)
